About me
I am the Region 6 Rep. Coordinator for Dogs Deserve Better. This region covers Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. We grew up on a farm and since I can remember, I have always asked the question ... Why would someone take a dog and chain it up or pen it in the backyard and never love it, or play with it or bring it into the home ????
I have never met anyone who could answer that question so I went on a quest to try to change the lives of as many dogs as I could from this horribly lonely life.
I have helped in changing the local ordinance to limit the amount of time a dog can be chained to 3 hours per day. And I am working on setting a minimum pen/kennel size.
My next objective is to see to it that the ordinance is enforced. And I am not going to stop until it is !
